Spotlight: Falling for the Wrong Guy by Sara Hantz
Dec 10, 2015
This is a sweetheart story of two teens fall in love after disasters mess up their entire worlds. Ruby has the hugest crush on Drew. Now Drew is Ruby's brother's best friend and well Drew betrayed her brother, so now Ruby doesn't think they could ever be together. Drew has a devastating background and it was very interesting how the author incorporated everything into the story. The story was a good nugget, but I feel like it was really lacking in character development. It was hard to fall in love with the characters, when it felt like they weren't ever going where in the story. Ruby was not a character I liked very much. I feel like she let everyone walk all over her and that was very sad to me. I really don't like characters like that and have a hard time feeling any sympathy for them.
