“The Wednesday Group” by Sylvia True is different. I am torn between a good different and a bad different, so it is just different. A group on women get together every Wednesday night for therapy. In therapy, the women are able to talk about their feelings, their husbands, their addictions, and their lives. The point of this group is to connect with others who may be going through the same issues as you.
This is definitely a fast read and one that you won’t want to put the book down until you finish. It also feels like the story is incomplete. This book had a lot of sharing between the women regarding their husbands and the issues they have with them. I feel like this story could have had deeper friendships and relationships in the story. Some of these women just wanted to give up on their marriage. This story just feels like there is something missing.
