Here's why the YA2U Team should come to MY hometown!
I think that the YA2U Team should come to my hometown of little Roseburg, Oregon is because we no longer have decent bookstores. We used to have a Waldenbooks (Borders smaller bookstore) but when Borders declared bankrupt, we lost our major bookstore. I think it is important to show the children and teenagers how important books are, I don't think books get enough credit in my hometown just because kids don't have enough exposure to books. If we had some authors that came to town with their books, I think it would be a big hit and maybe, just maybe, we can make books more popular in the small town of Roseburg. Honestly I think it would be extremely cool if some famous authors came to town to promote their books and reading in general. Vote for my hometown of Roseburg, OR. Thank you.
