Candles Galore: I own Stub Tail Candle Co. and I enjoy making bookish and fandom candles. You can find us here.  A few things I look forward when I am finding inspiration for a candle is what does the book say. The author has already done most of the work for me by writing their amazing book, so all I have to do it pay attention. Creating a candle is hard work but I find it quite rewarding once I have this perfect beautiful candle in my position. I strive to make sure it looks beautiful but also smells […]

Why I am Waiting?   I am a huge Jodi Meadows fan. I fell in love right away with Incarnate. I am really looking forward to diving into a series that is about dragons. Especially since Dragons are my favorite mythical creature. Speaking of Mythical creatures, did you see that OwlCrate is doing a Mythical Creature box. Use my link here to sign up. Their Instagram says if you use the code Dragon15 you can get 15% off!   About love2dazzle Ali Kiki is a reader, writer, reviewer, blogger, and photographer in Portland, OR. Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth

Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth is so good. I know there is so much controversy regarding this book. I even was attacked and unfriended by people who were upset about me posting Instagram pictures. Here is my answer towards all for that, if a book is already on my TBR and there is controversy, I am still going to read the  book. I deserve to form my own opinion. I am not one who decides to read or not read a book because of drama. With that being said here is my review. Review: I enjoyed Carve the Mark. […]

My Teaser: He glanced around, looking for anyone that could help them. No one was watching. Everyone else was taken by the sights and sounds of the market and paid no heed to a bunch of kinds standing near a wallow. The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis

The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis

“The Female of the Species” by Mindy McGinnis was very interesting. This book is full of talks and events of rape, murder, alcohol, sex, and random parties. McGinnis is a great writer, but I feel like this book is lacking. The story-line and plot could have been better. The only way I made it through the novel only because of PeeKay. I really liked PeeKay and I wanted to know how her story ends. Alex has many issues. She doesn’t know how to deal with her problems. Alex turns to violence and justice. She keeps to herself until PeeKay comes […]

Book Review: Rush by Eve Silver

Book Review: Rush by Eve Silver

“Rush” by Eve Silver was a fantastic book. This is one of the stories that has been sitting on the top of my TBR pile, so I was excited when I was able to get ahold of an audiobook copie to listen to in my car as I drove to work. I also own the hardcover so there was a few times that I followed along. I have to say that Silver does a fantastic job with the storyline and the characters. I am pretty sure this is my first story being exposed to aliens. Miki Jones is sixteen years […]
