“His Undercover Princess” by Avery Flynn was steamy. To be honest that is the only way I could put this story. I found myself lacking the enthusiasm to read it. I didn’t really like the story at all and it was much more steamy than I was used too. I found myself quickly finishing this one and moving on.   About love2dazzle Ali Kiki is a reader, writer, reviewer, blogger, and photographer in Portland, OR. Charlie Ryan is always being let down by the men in her life. Her dad left her mom when Charlie was a baby. Then Charlie caught her fiance having an affair with his secretary. When Charlie hears that she has inherited a ranch in Montana, she decided to leave and go to Montana. This is where Charlie’s life begins. This story was so lighthearted and fun. I think Charlies is a great character. She is easy to love and get to know. I think the author did a fabulous job creating a storyline that reads will enjoy. Charlies seems to […]

Book Review: Life Unaware by Cole Gibsen

Book Review: Life Unaware by Cole Gibsen

I think “Life Unaware” by Cole Gibsen ultimately has a good message about the effects of bullying and social media. It could have been a really good novel but I feel as if it just did not reach its potential at all. There was a lot of unnecessary swearing. Actually that is more of an understatement, there is  an extreme amount of unnecessary swearing. People seem to think that teenagers swear up a storm but really they don’t so I feel like this just portrays teenagers in a negative light. I think this book could have been so much better without […]

What was the Purpose of Auras in The Light Key Series? I believe that energy—the palpable wave of feeling that washes over us in the presence of others—is real. Call it mojo, spirit, vibes, or soul; it’s something that’s always fascinated me and I wanted to explore it in YA. I think it would be cool if the series gets people to be more aware of the vibes they feel around certain people and be more aware of their own energy. I chose to use auras because it allowed Cora to use sight as another means of sensing the energy […]

Book Review: Bridges Burned by Chris Cannon

Book Review: Bridges Burned by Chris Cannon

“Bridges Burned” by Chris Cannon was definitely a great sequel to “Going Down in Flames.” Bryn Mckenna is a crossbreed of a blue and red dragon, because of this, it is hard for Bryn to fit into the dragon society. Bryn is learning that you can’t always trust or believe int he people around you. Bryn is a great character. She has a lot of spunk and deals with life pretty well for being a dragon shifter. Being raised a human, Bryn has some complications in her new life. Now that Bryn has been accepted and claimed by her mother’s […]
