I was waiting for “The Siren” by Kiera Cass for what seemed like forever. The old version was taken off the shelves. I had to wait for the new version to come out by HarperTeen. I ended up getting lucky and acquired an ARC. I dove right in; however my review has been long anticipated since I finished the book a while ago. Summary: Kahlen was supposed to die. She shouldn’t have lived. Her family is gone. Miraculously, Kahlen ends up being saved by the Ocean to become a siren. Kahlen is now a very deadly weapon. She and her other Siren […]

“Untamed” by A. G. Howard was a sweet tribute to the beloved characters that we have fallen in love with. I fell in love with the “Splintered” series right away. I am a huge Alice in Wonderland fan and this seemed like such a perfect fit for me. I’ve missed these characters since I finished “Ensnared.” It was nice to get to revisit each of them again. I feel like “Untamed” was written specifically for the fans. These are for the ones that want just that little bit more of the world and characters that Howard created. “Untamed” is three […]
“Greta and the Lost Army” by Chloe Jacobs was the best one yet! This was a great conclusion to the series. Greta as always is a fantastic heroine. She has had an amazing story since the beginning of the book. Greta goes to every length she can no matter how extreme the circumstances for those that she loves. Greta doesn’t give up and I love that about her. This whole series and been about Greta growing and becoming stronger. Jacobs is an amazing world builder. I think she has done a great job with these novels and the world building. […]
“The Great Hunt” by Wendy Higgins was amazing. I thought it started out slow first but I was definitely surprised at how much I loved this book. Princess Aerity grew up believing that she could pick her husband just like her father picked her mother to marry. Love is a grand thing to get married for right? When a terrible beast plagues the land, Princess Aerity loses this privilege. Now whichever hunter kills the beast will win the Princess’ hand in marriage. Princess Aerity is a very strong princess. She gives up everything she believes in and everything she wants […]
The conclusion to “Splintered” by A.G. Howard was everything I wanted and didn’t want. I feel like “Ensnared” was gorgeous and terrible. A.G. Howard has taken her readers on an incredible ride in Wonderland. As many people know. I have always been a fan of “Alice in Wonderland” and Howard’s series has blown me away. The reader picks up where we were left in book two “Unhinged.” Alyssa and her father are off to AnyElsewhere in order to save Alison, Jeb, and Morpheus. The first thing on the list is to get Alyssa’s father’s memories back. Off to the memory […]
My Teaser: When it came down to the hunt, he’d do his part to track and capture the beast, but he’d let another man strike the killing blow. Then the land could be free, and he would wash his hands of this royal lass. His family would be fine-he’d continue to provide for them. These strange feelings for the princess were a complication he hadn’t expected. It was time to remedy that for the both of them. “Unhinged” by A.G. Howard was a dark and twisted sequel to “Splintered.” “Unhinged” picks up several months after “Splintered” ended. Alyssa is trying to figure out her relationship with Jeb but it is a bit difficult because he doesn’t remember any of their time in Wonderland. When Morpheus starts showing up in her dreams again, Alyssa wonders if something is up. Now that Wonderland is in danger again, Alyssa doesn’t want to go back but she is afraid that she must if she is to say her beloved second home. I really did like “Unhinged.” I felt like I really […]
I was very much intrigued by “The Falconer.” I started listening to it on audible and I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. I was having a bit of an issue trying to get into the story. “The Falconer” is the perfect blend of history and fantasy. As the story went on I became more addicted to the story. This story definitely blew me away. Aileana is a strong female heroine. I love how this book focuses on how much strength Aileana has with everything she had to go through as a character. One day Aileana Kameron […]
