“The Bad Boy’s Baby” by Cindi Madsen was such a cute read. Which doesn’t surprise me at all. Madsen always has the sweetest love stories. Cam is out of the military and is back to work with his brother at a lodge in the mountains. Cam had an abusive father growing up and his mother wasn’t around. This created some anger issues for Cam that he works on every day to overcome. Our other main characters is Emma. Emma is the mother of a beautiful little girl named Zoey. Zoey is two years old and has never known her father. […]

I am a big fan of Cindi Madsen. I was definitely excited for “Crazy for the Competition.” Heath and Quinn come from completely different worlds but seem to fit so perfectly together. Heath grew up on the wrong side of town always getting into trouble. Heath moves back home to be there for his little brother and to fulfill his dream of opening a hunting lodge with his other brother. Quinn tries so hard to please everyone and not let anyone down. This tends to be the cause of her own unhappiness. Quinn is so easy to love by the reader. […]

“Second Chance Ranch” by Cindi Madsen is a fantastic read. I am a huge fan of Madsen so when I saw that she was coming out with a new series I was extremely excited. If you haven’t read anything by Cindi Madsen before, this would be a great place to start. I think this is a great story to start with. Sadie has hit rock bottom and has returned home. After two separate music contracts fell through, Sadie doesn’t now what to do. Returning home also means that she will need to see Royce again. The man whose heart she […]

Interview:   Ali: Which genre do you prefer writing, Young Adult or Adult Romance? Cindi: I like mixing it up so I don’t get bored, much like I do with my reading.   Ali:  You seem to excel in both genres, why do you think that is? Cindi: Thanks! I try really hard to switch up the voices on my books, which again, keeps me from getting bored. I’m a character driven writer, so I just start seeing a character and feel the urge to tell their story, regardless of age. And of course age changed the set of problems […]

Mini Review: An Officer and a Rebel by Cindi Madsen

“An Officer and a Rebel” by Cindi Madsen is the perfect little Christmas in July present (or in August). I loved this little novella. I think Madsen did a fabulous job. Kelsey’s story is so cute. I hope that Kelsey and Nate have another appearance because I loved these two characters. They are so sweet together. I would be satisfied even if it was just another novella. Kelsey is definitely a rebel child. She dyes her hair and she really does what she wants not caring what other think about her because all that matters is what she thinks about herself. I […]
