By Your Side by Kasie West was not everything that it could have been. west had the perfect setting a library. A girl and a boy locked in said library is even better. So why am I so-so about this book? What I liked: Dax: he had a pro and con list and the pros won so he has been added to the like list. it was light, fluffy, and fast Autumn’s family is great. Autumn has really supportive parents that care about her health and mental health. I really enjoyed reading about their family dynamic. What I didn’t like: […]

Blood Rose Rebellion by Rosalyn Eves

Blood Rose Rebellion by Rosalyn Eves is a decent start to a new series. The story starts off strong with Anna destroying her sister’s debut. Anna end sup being a character that is hard to connect with. i feel like Anna is much younger than 16 because of how she acts. She is very shallow an love sick. i was told so many good things about this book thought that I decided to continue with the story. The magic in this world is very different and a bit hard to understand. Everyone goes through a confirmation to confirm their magic […]

Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth is so good. I know there is so much controversy regarding this book. I even was attacked and unfriended by people who were upset about me posting Instagram pictures. Here is my answer towards all for that, if a book is already on my TBR and there is controversy, I am still going to read the  book. I deserve to form my own opinion. I am not one who decides to read or not read a book because of drama. With that being said here is my review. Review: I enjoyed Carve the Mark. […]

City of Saints and Thieves by Natalie C. Anderson is so good. This book took me by surprise. For some reason I was expecting not to like it and instead it made me cry. I am a very emotional person. So since I cry a lot in real life, I rarely cry in books and movies. There is a specific chapter in this book that made me cry. Tina makes a point to try to be invisible. If people notice you, than one may be caught and that is the last thing you want. Tina is a thief. She is […]

That Summer by Sarah Dessen

That Summer by Sarah Dessen

Review: That Summer by Sarah Dessen had such a realistic story plot that I was drawn in right away. Haven is gong through so many changes in her life. Her dad left. Her sister is getting married. Her mom wants to sell their house. Haven’s entire life is spinning out of control and she doesn’t have a choice over any of it. I may not have experienced any of the issues that Haven has experienced, but I can relate to how she felt. Haven tries to grasp some point of her life that she loved and hold on to […]

The Takedown Blog Tour: Review and Giveaway

The Takedown Blog Tour: Review and Giveaway

Review: The Takedown by Corrie Wang is so good. I was quite surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. I was intrigued right away about a book raising an issue to social media. I spend way too much on social media. Not only do I work in social media for work but I am also a blogger and do plenty of my own social media. There is so many situation problems that arise now that our whole lives are online. We live in a world where there is so much lack of privacy because everything is in an online […]

The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine is so good. I really enjoyed getting to know Lorelai and Koi. I love there banter and cute swoony moments. I think that the characters in this normal fit perfectly together. I really enjoyed the story and plot. The characters are developed well and really get you hooked. I became invested in these characters and really wanted to know how they ended up. I was expecting this story to be more from the point of view of the evil queen and it was not. I was slightly disappointed but got over that quite soon […]

Dream Forever by Kit Alloway is a great way to wrap up this series. Alloway’s writing just keeps getting better as her books go on. I think the conclusion brings a wonderful conclusion for her readers. Readers are able to stay engaged with this series and I think if you were starting with this book that you wouldn’t get too lost in the story. I feel like there is a lot more humor in this book which is fun and provides a good way to light then book mood. Josh has grown into a wonderful young woman that is strong […]

Dreamfever by Kit Alloway

Dreamfever by Kit Alloway was a great sequel to Dreamfire. With the ending of Dreamfire, everyone is struggling with how their lives have changed. Four months after Dreamfire ended, Josh and Will are exploring the Dream. When they stumble across a girl, they figure that she is a dreamwalker that got lost in the Dream. Everyone soon finds out that this girl is way more than what she seems. I thought this book has a lot better pacing than Dreamfire. This book was easier to get through and didn’t take as much time. I thought the characters were a lot […]

Dreamfire by Kit Alloway was a good read. I thought the world building and romance was well written and pretty easy to follow. Alloway did a great job at bringing a unique plot to her readers. Dreamwalkers is a fun idea. Dreamwalkers are people who can enter nightmares and help resolve them for the dreamer. My biggest problem with this story is it is a bit slow to build. The reader is thrown into a world with a ton of characters with so many different names. I have to say that was a bit hard to follow up as you […]
