Abigail Breslin has a book?! Okay so I was intrigued but not impress. Lots of celebrities have books now. Why should Breslin be any different? One day I was bored and wandering around, so I picked of Breslin’s book just to take a look at it. I scanned it as I was waiting and found that I really liked the unique style that the book was written in. I don’t know if that was Breslin’s idea or the editor’s but I was very intrigued and wanted to read further. I decided to order my own copy. Little did I know […]

I was really disappointed in this book. I have an apartment and I am always looking for a good way to decorate and rearrange the design of the apartment. I felt like “Apartment Therapy Complete and Happy Home” is made for houses. There really isn’t a lot of apartment options in the book. I think the tips were great. How to properly hang art and do window treatments. I don’t have a lot of room to work with. There was information about gardening and swimming pools and I live in an apartment complex, I can’t do anything with the lawn, […]

Mini Review: “Red Flags” by Wendy L. Patrick is informative. This book helps the reader identify didn’t red flags to look for in life based off of Patrick’s experiences and knowledge. This book really teaches one on how to assess and understand others. Patrick is one of the nation’s top criminal prosecutors, and she brings this advice and knowledge from her many years of working with criminals. I think Patrick brings up some good points on areas to watch for. There are warning signs that identify specific kind of people. This was a fascinating book to read for information. About […]

Book Review: The Time Garden by Daria Song

Book Review: The Time Garden by Daria Song

This is the second coloring book that I have from Daria Song. “The Time Garden” actually takes place prior to “The Time Chamber”. I think the pictures are beautiful. I love how the whole coloring book tells a story. I think the book is well made with great paper. The pages are front and back so there may be a bit of difficulty if you are trying to color with pens or markers. My biggest complaint is it is a bit difficult to get the book to lie flat. The binding is well done but it makes it hard to […]

I’ve always been a person that is picky on the memoirs that I read because I get bored with them so easily. When I got this one in the mail, I debated about whether I was going to review it. I decided to give it a try to found it so heartbreaking. Eunsun’s journey is a hard and long one. She is very inspiring to those around her. She was able to go through so much and still survivie. Eunsum Kim was 11 years old when she started her journey trying to leave North Korea. North Koreans were starving in the mid […]

His backstory was very encouraging and interesting and full of many tips to starting a successful business.  Chapters 2, 3 & 4 are The Smoker, Wood, and Fire & Smoke. The Smoker covers everything from choose the right […]
