Review: It Ends with Us By Colleen Hoover

Review: It Ends with Us By Colleen Hoover

I am not a big ban of Colleen Hoover books. I find them hit or miss. Colleen, herself seems very delightful. I heard the hype for It Ends with Us. I went back and forth with it. I just kept hearing how amazing it was so when I saw the audio book available from my library I gave in and placed it on hold. I read over and over go in blind, it’s best not to know what the story is about before going in and since that’s how I usually roll I went with that. I did ask some […]

This is a very steamy read. I like that it is fun and flirty. “Her Hottest Summer yet” by Ally Blake is a story about finding your way back home. Home is the place you belong, the person you belong with, and the place you feel mot like you. this story is really cute and I think it makes a good summer read. “His Undercover Princess” by Avery Flynn was steamy. To be honest that is the only way I could put this story. I found myself lacking the enthusiasm to read it. I didn’t really like the story at all and it was much more steamy than I was used too. I found myself quickly finishing this one and moving on.   About love2dazzle Ali Kiki is a reader, writer, reviewer, blogger, and photographer in Portland, OR. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas

This review has been long overdue for “A Court of Thorns and Roses” by Sarah J. Maas. I love Celaena’s story in “Throne of Glass” but I love Feyre even more. “A Court of Thorns and Roses” is an amazing retelling of Beauty and the Beast. I loved it. Besides the fact that Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite “princess” stories, I think Maas did a great job bringing this fairy tale to life. Maas is a great writer because she brings these amazing action scenes to life. As the reader that I am always drawn into the […]

Book Review: With a Twist by Staci Hart

Book Review: With a Twist by Staci Hart

I wasn’t as in love with this novel. I do think that “With a Twist” by Staci Hart was really good. West and Lily were a very sweet couple. It took a lot in me though not to yell at them to just admit their feelings. I think the story really took off once West and Lily could admit their true feelings to each other. Hart writes this novel in order to draw her  reader into the story and the words just come to life on the page. This is such a sweet romantic novel. I love reading about two […]

Cain Allen is offered a huge sum of money to “handle” superstar Lincoln Todd on her European Tour. When he takes the job, he really didn’t know what he was in for. Cain isn’t afraid to be honest to Lincoln Todd and tell her what he really thinks and what his opinion is, because of this Lincoln fires Cain. Then Lincoln reconsiders and decides to hire him again since he was honest with her. Since Cain was trying to keep a low profile because of the trial going on with his father being murdered and a fire being sent off […]

Charlie Ryan is always being let down by the men in her life. Her dad left her mom when Charlie was a baby. Then Charlie caught her fiance having an affair with his secretary. When Charlie hears that she has inherited a ranch in Montana, she decided to leave and go to Montana. This is where Charlie’s life begins. This story was so lighthearted and fun. I think Charlies is a great character. She is easy to love and get to know. I think the author did a fabulous job creating a storyline that reads will enjoy. Charlies seems to […]

EXCERPT- Surviving the Rachel   Now it’s just me and Jack. “Firefly,” he says, breaking the silence. “What?” I laugh. “Right there, hold on a second,” Jack says, pointing near the pond. “There!” And I see it. A firefly lights up the darkness for a brief second, a flash of yellow in the dark sky. “I condemned many fireflies to a sad death in a Cool Whip container in my childhood,” I admit, laughing. “Did you poke holes on the top?” he teases. “Of course! I didn’t try to suffocate them on purpose.” “Murderer.” “I was not,” I giggle. “Challenge […]
