You will be punished…
Celestine North lives a perfect life. She’s a model daughter and sister, she’s well-liked by her classmates and teachers, and she’s dating the impossibly charming Art Crevan.
But then Celestine encounters a situation where she makes an instinctive decision. She breaks a rule and now faces life-changing repercussions. She could be imprisoned. She could be branded. She could be found flawed.
In her breathtaking young adult debut, bestselling author Cecelia Ahern depicts a society where perfection is paramount and flaws lead to punishment. And where one young woman decides to take a stand that could cost her everything.

Flawed by Cecelia Ahern is absoultely amazing. i can’t even express how much I love this book. Flawed is about Celestine, she lives in a society where people get branded if they are found flawed and not perfect. If you are proven to be flawed, jlife changes as you know it. A flawed member of society no longer has the freedom to do what they want, eat what they want, stay out late, have privacy, and much more. This society is ruled by a government known as the Guild. The Guild is  like a court of judges. The world is not a place I would want to live. These characters basically live in a glass house where everything they do is watched and judged.

Celestine is extremely naive. In the beginning she was a really week character but as the story moves forward Celestine grows up. Along the way, the reader finds out why her character is so naive. When Celestine finally opens her eyes and allows her self to grow and see what the world truly is, everything changes for her. Celestine now has to deal with a whole lot of changes in her life.

the new life Celestine is dealt is cruel and unfair. Her whole world has been turned upside down. Celestine doesn’t want to be the face of the government and she doesn’t want to be the ace of a rebellion. She just wants to keep her head down and move one with her life. No one will let her move on. A report that is tasked to write a story on her just ends up making it worse. Now Celestine is always in the public spot light and everyone wants something from her.

Romance. I was happy that romance wasn’t the big focus in this book. Celestine is in love with Art, but with Celestine’s new situation, things go terribly wrong in their relationship. I didn’t mind that things were going south with them because I didn’t think that they had chemistry. Carrick on the other hand, I would love to see more of Carrick and Celestine. Those two have great chemistry together. Carrick’s history is a bit odd. I really want to get to know him more. I am hoping he appears a lot more in book two.

I really liked this book. Like a lot. I can’t say that enough. Ahern really caught my attention and made me feel for the characters. I became so invested that all I wanted to know was what will happen next. Go check out this book. If you are anything like me, then you won’t regret it.
