Meet fifteen-year-old Laura, who thinks her name is plain, her stepmom's insane, and her stepbrother is lame. Enter a new friend and new grade in high school, a sister she never sees, a mom she doesn't want to see, and a sister she didn't want to happen, and you've got big problems! The last thing Laura expects is for someone to understand. Hopefully it will happen before it's too late.
“Catch Me if You Can” by Carrie Marston was a bit disappointing. I feel like this book was published before it was ready. There are many typos and mistakes in every part of the book. The characters aren’t very development and it felt like this book just wasn’t all there. What I would like to add is that the author was young when the book was published. I think it is a very brave thing to have a book published when you are a teenager. I do think that the book could have waited a few more years to be polished up a bit more because it wasn’t ready to be released.
