Multiple storylines collide in this cosmos-spanning new volume. While Gwendolyn and Lying Cat risk everything to find a cure for The Will, Marko makes an uneasy alliance with Prince Robot IV to find their missing children, who are trapped on a strange world with terrifying new enemies. Collects Saga #25-30.

“Saga Vol. 5” did not disappoint. The illustrations are always beautiful. You can tell that Vaughn and Staples do a great job with this graphic novel. Volume 5 jumps back to Hazel giving a history lesson of the early days of the Wreath and Landfall War. Then the reader is taken to the present of when Dengo has Hazel, Alana, and her grandmother as prisoners as Dengo tries to figure out what to do with Hazel and Prince Robot IV’s robot son. Prince Robot IV and Marko are in The Stalk’s ship trying to track down their families. The characters have been all of the place and I feel like they get more depth to them every time I get to read their stories. I will be anxiously waiting for volume 6.
