Steampunk meets Kaiju in this original fantasy epic for mature readers, as young Maika risks everything to control her psychic link with a monster of tremendous power, placing her in the center of a devastating war between human and otherworldly forces.

I was sent “Monstress” by Marjorie Liu as a comic for review. I think this  comic was very interesting to read. I am not totally sure with the story is going but I am interested to find out more. This comic has an M rating for all the violence in it. I think Liu is a great comic book writer. You can definitely tell how beautiful her words are. This is a great first installment and I will definitely be looking for more. The artwork is beautiful. This comic has gorgeous artwork.
