She'll take horror movies, monster hunts and burping contests over manicures. So Toni is horrified when she's sent to the Winston Academy for Girls, where she has to wear a skirt and learn to be a "lady" while the guys move on without her. Then Toni meets Emma Elizabeth, a girl at school with boy troubles, and she volunteers one of her friends as a pretend date. Word spreads of Toni s connections with boys, and she discovers that her new wealthy female classmates will pay big money for fake dates. Looking for a way to connect her old best friends with her new life at school, Toni and Emma start up Toni Valentine s Rent-A-Gent Service. But the business meets a scandal when Toni falls for one of her friends--the same guy who happens to be the most sought-after date. With everything she's built on the line, Toni has to decide if she wants to save the business and her old life, or let go of being one of the guys for a chance at love."

“One of the Guys” is such a cute read. I thought it was very enjoyable. Toni Valentine has always been one of the guys. Toni can feel everything changing between her and her friends. She tries really hard to keep everything the same. Senior year is starting and she doesn’t want to lose her friends and to top everything off, she is starting an all-girls school. Now she is starting to have unwelcomed feelings for her best friend.

This is a great story about growing up and embracing the life in front of you. Toni is a great character. I felt like I was really able to get to know her. The rumor and drama to the story created a lot of fun and entertainment. It was a lot of fun seeing Toni and Micah go from best friends to something more. This story happens more often than not between friends. A lot of guys fall for the girl or the girl falls for the guy.

I think this is a very cute must read book. I felt like the characters were easy to get to know and that they created a wonderful presence in the story. I also felt like this story was very relatable between the characters. Aldin did a great job with her novel and I will be looking forward to what else she has in store for us.
